An invasive cardiologist and cardiovascular ultrasound specialist, Dr. Recchia is a graduate of the University of Michigan. He completed his internship and residency at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, as well as a fellowship in Cardiology at Barnes Hospital.

Dr. Recchia's professional interests include heart failure and cardiomyopathies, echocardiography, cardiac pacing, valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease and vascular disease.

Dr. Recchia is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine. He is also Board Certified in all aspects of adult echocardiography and is a registered physician in Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation. Dr. Recchia is a fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography and American College of Cardiology, and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, American College of Physicians, American Society of Echocardiography, Heart Failure Society of America, Society for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Society for Vascular Ultrasound and Society for Cardiovascular CT.

In addition to Munson Medical Center, Dr. Recchia sees patients in Bear Lake and Frankfort.

Dr. Recchia resides in Traverse City.
