Dr. Nair is a graduate of Bombay University, India. He performed his residency and a Fellowship in Cardiology at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan.

Dr. Nair's professional interests include adult cardiology, cardiac catheterization, echocardiogram and pacemaker insertion.

Dr. Nair is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, and Council of Clinical Cardiology of American Heart Association.

Dr. Nair has been practicing Clinical Cardiology since 1977; locally since 1991. In addition to Mercy Hospital–Cadillac, Dr. Nair has privileges at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

Dr. Nair resides in Cadillac with his wife and two children.
