An interventional cardiologist, Dr. Mast is a graduate of the University of Michigan and earned his medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his internship in internal medicine at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland serving as assistant chief of service in internal medicine. He completed his fellowship training in cardiovascular medicine at Duke University and an interventional cardiology fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

Dr. Mast’s interests include all aspects of cardiovascular medicine, integrating patient care with all available diagnostic modalities including echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiologyand vascular imaging techniques. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, and has achieved certificates in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. Along with Munson Medical Center, Dr. Mast has privileges with Mercy Health Services North–Grayling.

Dr. Mast lives in Traverse City with his wife and four children.
