An interventional cardiologist, Dr. Clayton is a 1987 graduate of the College of Osteopathic Medicine, Michigan State University and received post graduate training at Lansing General Hospital in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Cardiology at Michigan State University, Ingham Medical Center in Lansing, Michigan.
Dr. Clayton's special areas of interest include all aspects of interventional cardiology; pacemakers, cardiac catheterization and critical care cardiology.
He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association and American Osteopathic Association. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
Along with Munson Medical Center, Dr. Clayton has privileges with Mercy Health Services North–Grayling.
He is married with two children and resides in Traverse City. His non-professional interests include many outdoor activities such as horses, camping, and fishing.
